I’ve been waiting for a long time to be able to photograph TobyMac and now here I am. I have always been a fan of his for a long time and I was super excited to have the opportunity to cover this show.

The stage set-up was quite unique. There was one big stage; it had a catwalk out to another stage that was in the middle of the audience, which has two cat walks attached on both sides. At this moment, I knew I had my work cut out for me, running from one stage to the next. The main stage had several big LED screens that changed throughout the night to different themes depending on the song. Toby came out playing “Help Is On The Way” followed by “Everything”. Toby was dressed in a black shirt, white jacket with white pants, he also had a white beanie on along with white shoes with different colors on the sides. The band is also all in matching gear. The audience is singing along, as Toby is showing off his choreographed moves. As Toby plays “Show Up Choose Love” he brings out Jon Reddick to help. Jon Reddick is one of the supporting artists on this tour with him. As the night moves forward TobyMac starts playing “Til the Day I Die”. He’s standing in the middle of the stage with a big white flag waving it around as nitrogen tanks go off on both sides of him. Everyone in the arena is on their feet, hands in the air and singing along. Toby throughout the night brought out their supporting artists to help on a few songs. “Speak Life” which Tasha Layton helped on and “Hello Future” with David Crowder and “Me Without You” with Michael Cochren.

TobyMac has outdone his self. He has put on a great show. The sound was perfect. The lighting and lasers where great along with the disco ball, pyros, and confetti cannons. The audience was on their feet most the night dancing and singing. This was great for the whole family even the children were entertained. Make sure you get tickets to one of his shows coming near you.
