Sparta, NC – The picturesque mountains of Sparta, North Carolina, played host to an electrifying weekend as Leather and Lace Event Center celebrated its 1st Annual Bike Rally and Music Festival. This inaugural event, held on July 20, 2024, drew crowds from near and far, eager to revel in the blend of roaring engines, captivating music, and the stunning mountain backdrop.
The event was made possible through the generous sponsorships from The Gathering, HR Barringer “Budweiser”, Crossroads Harley Davidson, Next Level Detailing and Blue Star Home
Repair LLC. Their support ensured a seamless blend of biker culture and live music, creating a unique experience that highlighted the best of both worlds. Leather and Lace Event Center transformed into a buzzing hub of activity, with vendors, food stalls, and a custom bike show along with the wet t-shirt contest hosted by the one and only Jack Schit.
The festival kicked off with dynamic performances from the opening bands, “Jordan O’Neil” and “Jake Cox” starting off inside and then transitioning to the main stage with “The Shakers” and “Voodoo Moonshine”. The Shakers, known for their high-energy rock and roll, set the tone with a rousing set that had the crowd dancing from the first chord. Voodoo Moonshine followed, bringing their distinctive Bluesy swamp hard rock flair, complete with gritty guitar riffs and soulful vocals that resonated through the mountain air followed by the head liner the one and only Jackyl!
Bikers from all over the region converged in Sparta, showcasing an impressive array of motorcycles that ranged from classic choppers to modern cruisers. Enthusiasts exchanged stories, admired each other’s rides. Let’s give a shout out to everyone that showed up early and road in the rain we appreciate you and your support.
