Shinedown Makes a Triumphant Return to Charlotte on the Dance, Kid, Dance Act II Tour
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After a four-year absence from the Queen City, Shinedown returned to Spectrum Center with an explosive performance on the Dance, Kid, Dance Act II Tour, reminding fans exactly why they remain one of rock’s premier live acts. The evening also featured high-energy opening performances from Skillet and From Ashes to New, creating the perfect buildup for one of the year’s biggest rock shows.
As the lights dimmed and anticipation filled the arena, frontman Brent Smith emerged wearing a sharp all-black suit to a thunderous ovation. It had been four years since Shinedown last played Charlotte, and judging by the crowd’s reaction, fans were more than ready to welcome them back.

Combined with dazzling lights and massive video screens, the pyrotechnics transformed Spectrum Center into a full-scale rock spectacle that was every bit as memorable as the music itself.
