Nonpoint @ The International, Knoxville TN.

Nonpoint is currently out on the road co-headlining with The Butcher Babies on a tour called The Kings and Queens. Both co-headliners appeared on Thursday May 24th in Knoxville TN at The International for a Special final International show featuring 10 Years. The show was opened up by Charlotte, NC based Killakoi, The Butcher Babies, from Los Angeles CA followed and then Nonpoint hit the stage and finally the Knoxville hometown band 10 Years were the night’s headline band.
The venue is scheduled to host its final show ever, making way for “progress” and development, on June 9th. 10 Years has a long history with this venue, calling it home and noting they “practically had the keys to the place” through the years. I know live music fans everywhere are certain to be disappointed to see a venue like this go, just as many others have in recent years.
Nonpoint took the stage 3rd in the lineup to the largest crowd of the night and to the delight and surprise of their large fanbase in attendance opened up with Bullet with a Name. After getting the audience totally fired up and in the mood to rock out to their high energy stage show, the kept the energy high until the very end. They played all of their fan favorites including My Last Dying Breath, F**K’D, “Victim,” off of 1997’s Separate Yourself, “Endure” from 2000’s Statement, and “Alive and Kicking” from 2005’s To The Pain and several more. They closed out the set with their version of the Phil Collins hit, In the Air Tonight. The band currently consists of vocalist Elias Soriano, drummer Robb Rivera, rhythm guitarist Rasheed Thomas, bassist Adam Woloszyn, and lead guitarist B.C. Kochmit. The band is based in Florida and has been together since 1997, they have released 13 albums which include two independent and 2 live/compilation CDS. They are scheduled to release the latest Album in the Summer of 2018. We wait anxiously! They are a high energy Nu-Metal, Active Rock band that you must put on your bands to see list!
